VirtualBox - The best virtual machine I have ever used!

I am writing this blog today as to show the gratitude to the team of VirtualBox virtual machine application. I have used VMWare, VirtualPC, qEMU, and whatnots. None of them really match the quality of VirtualBox both performance and ease-of-use of VirtualBox. Note that I have never Xen, another very popular one on Linux platform, so that might be better than VirtualBox. However, I won't assume that until I have really used it myself.

VirtualPC in fact is the suckest one ever. It's slow and always cause glitches here and there to the guest operating system all the time. VMWare, the last version I used was 4.x, it works fine most of the time but did have its own issue like BIOS time (causing the guest operating system's timer to run much slower than reality) and some weird behavior to the host operating system (at that time I was using Windows XP) such as CD Rom that cannot be ejected or Autosys.

I am still using Windows as my primary platform because I got a very premium set of hardware with a very reasonable price. I wish Linux-based machine would be like this someday. Dell has a couple model but when compared to what I got feature by feature, it's not worth the bucks. Anyhow, that's what the platform I used VirtualBox. Using it is giving me the feeling of riding a BMW (though I never had owned one!). It's just so smooth and the performance is REALLY GREAT! I run guest Ubuntu Linux guest on it and sometimes I just fogot that I am running it on a virtual machine.

Thanks so much for the team. I know that you guys were acquired by Sun. This, I am hopping that, would be a good opportunity to even enable you guys financially to maintain the quality of the project.
